Most world maps have a pole at the top and the equator through the middle. That's just where we've agreed to put it. The same projection works from any orientation, and all of them are equally correct maps.
This tool lets you move the pole anywhere. Dragging doesn't scroll the map; it turns the globe underneath it. Familiar shapes stretch and shift, and the distortion you stopped noticing long ago lands somewhere new.
Drag the map - grab any point and it follows your cursor; the projection reshapes around it.
Yaw / pitch / roll - drag the numbers horizontally to set each angle directly.
Grid - latitude and longitude every 30°, drawn on the globe, so you can see where the pole has moved to.
Labels - country names
Shaded- swap between the satellite and shaded-relief map.
Load image - use your own equirectangular image; overrides both built-in maps.
Reset - back to the standard aspect and the default map.
Save PNG - downloads the current reprojection at 4096×2048.
